Personal Training and Sport Specific Training

We work with people on an individual and small group (<4 individuals) sessions. Once we have screened (mandatory) the individual/group and have dealt with any imbalances we focus on the individuals/groups needs each session. Each program is tailored to the client's goals.

    Single sessions (1 trainer 1 client)
    2 - 4 person sessions (1 trainer 2 - 4 clients)

Group & Corporate Training Groups

We work with large groups (up to 20 people) in order accommodate specific needs for companies and more than 4 people. We offer a screen for each individual but it is not mandatory. In most cases training starts from basic and moves into complex, intense workouts. Each program is tailored to the groups overall needs as apposed to the individual.

Functional Movement Screen

The functional movement screen was created and is used to assess an individual's strengths and weaknesses relative to their needs. After a scored evaluation the individual is given a set of exercises to improve upon their weaknesses and keep up with their strengths or the trainer implements a program based on this score in order to improve the individuals' imbalances.

Run Technique and Video Evaluation

6 Session minimum

  • Session 1 Video taping of present running
  • Sessions 2 - 5 Corrective training with drills and exercises
  • Session 6 Video taping of current running and follow up drills/exercises

First you will be video taped of how you run now. Then we will correct any imbalances and show the proper way to run Pose. A multitude of drills are used to get the body and mind to understand the change that is going to occur, and then we will re-video tape you and give some more corrective advice and exercises to do after you run so that the body will adapt faster. This also includes a tempo trainer which will allow changes to occur much quicker.

There is no easier way to improve than by seeing yourself, and learning to be more efficient!

Coaching Services

Genetic Potential offers coaching services for running, cycling, swimming, or any program that needs to be coached! We also set up strength training programs for all types of athletes. We utilize Training Peaks online training program which allows us to communicate with the athlete via the internet. We work with people big and small, fast and slow. The only important thing is that you have a goal.

CrossFit Workouts of the Day

We offer a 4 week Crossfit membership which you can attend as many group workouts as you want.  We recommend a minimum of 3 a week.  We require you to schedule 10 personal training sessions with one of our Trainers (CrossFit Introductory Classes) before you begin the group workouts. We also have a drop-in rate for out of town CrossFit only.

  • Standard CrossFit membership: $180 for 4 weeks of unlimited sessions
  • Discounted Crossfit membership: $110 for 4 weeks of unlimited sessions*
  • *Current personal training clients, military, police, fire and Lifeguards can receive a discounted CrossFit membership
